Okay so I’ll be the first to admit, this is a bit of a lazy DIY, but it’s something I’ve been wanting to do for a while so bear with me. Originally I wanted to use some of my Polaroid pictures, but I didn’t have enough to make it look how I wanted, so I opted for printing some bigger ones. My cube at work has been getting a bit boring to me because everything has been pretty much the same for like two years, so I ended up making three displays – two for home and one from work. Enjoy!
- String (no specific size – I chose something sturdy)
- Small clothes pins
- Pictures (I printed 4x4s, but wallets would look cute too)
- Tape/tacks (depending on the surface you’re hanging)
It’s pretty self explanatory, but I printed a bunch of 4×4 pictures at Walmart (came out to $.13 a piece) to begin.
Next, I held up my string to see how long I needed it to be where I planned on hanging it
Then, I taped the string to the wall (I later found out that you should probably tie knots in the end if you use tape because the string I used slips).
Finally, you use the little clothes pins to hang your pictures! I chose to keep mine pretty close together, but it all depends on the look you’re going for.
I hope this gives you some ideas! I’m terrible at taking a ton of pictures but never actually doing anything with them, so this is a start. Let me know if you have ideas for next month!!
