Day three was another success. I had a few more urges to post things than previous days, but I didn’t have any issues ignoring them. I’m almost halfway through my book already, and I only started reading it Monday. I feel like I have much more free time and I’ve even been able to set my alarm clock a full 30 minutes later (I did consider this before my “break,” so I’m not really saving THAT much time in the morning just from stopping social media usage. I’ve been skipping on most of my makeup because I’m a lazy potato). Some people have been giving me a hard time about using Snapchat, but I still don’t use it that much and I only have a few friends on it, so it’s not on the same level as the ones I’ve blocked myself from.
I had time to color, help cook dinner, do the dishes, read (a ton), and start watching a series on Netflix about WWII. Even though I had time to play video games, I didn’t. It was nice to not really use much technology after staring at a computer screen at work all day. I’m about halfway through my break, and I feel pretty good about it!
