Day two already! Day one flew by, and day two hasn’t been bad either. I got a lot more sleep because not checking social media at all in the morning saved me time and I got ready way faster than I normally am (though I did skip out on most of my make up, too). I even had enough time to make the bed before I left. I spent my breaks at work reading instead of updating my status/scrolling through my feeds, so I’m happy to say I’m probably going to finish the book I’m reading pretty quickly.
Surprisingly, day two wasn’t much harder than day one and this hasn’t been nearly as hard as I thought it would be. We went grocery shopping and watched TV, so I really didn’t have much empty space to fill during the day. Maybe I’m speaking too soon, but if it doesn’t get any harder than this, I should be able to go even longer next time I do this! I am pretty confident that my “addiction” is more or less me scrolling through things when I’m bored than feeling like I need to do it. I’ve seen a lot less negativity and it’s had a positive impact on me for sure -and it’s only been two days. I’m a little out of the loop as far as news goes, but if I really wanted to keep up with it, I could always check elsewhere. I’ll check back in on day three! Trying to keep it short and sweet.
